"Glastonbury Festival organisers have been heavily criticised ever since Jay-Z was announced as one of the main headliners at this year's event.

Disgruntled fans and the likes of Noel Gallagher have all blamed the hip-hop star for poor ticket sales after the three-day event failed to sell out." - Is rap really a festival flop? (BBC site)

Probably utter bollocks - its probably something to do with the other two headliners (Kings of Leon and The Verve) not really setting imaginations alight and maybe a large number of people just getting tired of the mud. It really was quite bad last year compared with previous - it never really stopped. Though I bet it will be glorious this year. Me I'm not going as no one I know wants (or is able) to go. Otherwise I would. Having mostly crap headliners would be an excuse to go explore properly.
